The Qassam Brigades have announced that they have pushed back an Israeli raid in Gaza. The Israeli army has confirmed that one of their soldiers were killed while three were injured by an anti-tank missile. Also the Palestinian National Resistance announced that their militants have destroy two military bulldozers and a tank in an ambush in the Gaza territory, forcing the IDF to retreat from the Palestinian territory without their vehicles.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the deth toll from the Israeli bombing campaign in Gaza is now 5087 people, about 40 percent of which are children. The Israeli army announced on the 23rd of October that they have carried out 300 new air attacks within 24 hours. During this period, 400 people are reported to have been killed, the highest casualties in a day in Gaza since the 7th of October. Thousands of buildings are reported to have been destroyed and more than one million people have been displaced. Israel is increasingly bombing the south of Gaza, sinister and viciously ordering people living in the north to evacuate where they now bombard. Genocidal war-criminals as they are, acting like shepherds pushing the herd into the butchery. The newest fairy-tale of the warmongers to explain bombing willingly civilian infrastructure is that of aiming at tunnels and underground headquarters of the Palestinian Resistance.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces have killed two people and abducted hundreds in raids carried out during last night. According to reports there were clashes between the Israeli forces and armed Palestinians, and Palestinian youth threw stones at the Israeli forces.

Clashes continue along the border between Israel and Lebanon and in Israeli-occupied Lebanese territory. Israel carried out multiple air attacks on the 23rd of October, killing one Hezbollah fighter. According to reports at least 27 Hezbollah fighters and 11 fighters from Palestinian Resistance in Lebanon, as well as at least five Israeli soldiers have been killed in the border area. Israel has started evacuating 42 settlements along the border.

The international airports in Damascus and Aleppo have been targeted by Israeli air attacks, according to Yeni Demokrasi. One worker was killed and one person was injured in the attacks. The attacks have dealt major damage to the runways of both the airports, resulting in the airports being closed. In the last 15 days, the airport in Aleppo has been attacked by Israel three times and the airport in Damascus has been attacked two times.

Support for the struggle of the Palestinian National Resistance and for the defense of the people of Gaza have continued despite hard repression as we have previously reported.

In India it is reported that several people have been arrested for showing their support for the just struggle of the Palestinian people. In Mumbai four people were arrested, accused of insulting the Israeli flag. In Uttar Pradesh a Muslim religious leader was arrested for “spreading hatred” because of his alleged support for Palestine, and four students were arrested for organizing pro-Palestinian events. In Delhi 60 people were arrested at a rally by students, teachers and intellectuals in support of Palestine.

In the city of Medellín in Colombia, there was a march with nearly 150 participants in support of the struggle of the Palestinian people. Different revolutionary and democratic groups also gathered in a forum on the current situation in Palestine.

Ang Bayan, the newspaper of the Communist Party of the Philippines, has published an editorial condemning the genocidal war of the US and Israel against the Palestinian people.

In Paris, around ten thousand people gathered in a solidarity rally for the Palestinian people. French and Palestinian immigrant organizations as well revolutionary and democratic organizations for Turkey, including Partizan, supported the rally.
