SUTEP DEFENSE COMMITTEE: "MARCH 8: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE PROLETARIAN WOMAN"

International Proletarian Women's Day, commemorated every March 8th, is a historic day of resistance and struggle to transform this outdated society, which has become imperialist. Women, organized as the vanguard of the proletariat, struggle alongside the working class for their shared emancipation. In the country, the class struggle between those "above" (the big bourgeoisie and landowners) and those "below" (made up primarily of the proletariat, the poor peasantry, and the petite bourgeoisie), is exacerbated amid a widespread crisis of bureaucratic capitalism. It is absolutely false that there is "quietude" on the part of the people, as a group of opportunist leaders propagate in a union statement. On the contrary, they are offering their lives in mobilizations and protests, including teachers. We must be objective: this is International Proletarian Women's Day, not of "women" per se, but only in the genetic dimension. Prominent women leaders of the working class, with proletarian consciousness, with a raised fist and transformative actions, fight, led by the vanguard of the proletariat, against the iniquity, exploitation, and oppression waged by this outdated society, sustained by its armed forces and police forces, with a fascist, genocidal, and traitorous government, offering their lives. Long live International Proletarian Women's Day!

Long live the teachers of the SUTEP ÚNICO of J.C. Mariátegui!

Down with this fascist, genocidal, and traitorous government!
