We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report published on Dem Volke Dienen:

In Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Bremen, some electoral boycott activities have taken place in the past few weeks.

In Hamburg, Mümmelmannsberg, a large-scale wall agitation against the elections of the bourgeoisie on walls and power boxes was seen. Here are some footage:

An agitation campaign was carried out in Bremen-Gröpelingen in early February. Hundreds of leaflets were distributed for the boycott. Agitation against the elections was done via loudspeaker and – shortly after the ceasefire began – the heroic struggle of the people of Palestine was propagated as well. In addition, some of the Rote Post (Red Post) editions were distributed and a video for the Anti-Imperialist League was shown. Youngsters were once more excited about stickers and quickly embellished the entire space in front of the “Waterfront” with the slogans “Do not vote! Combat and Resist! “Vote out exploitation, will never work! Boycott of the elections of the bourgeoisie!”

There was also a similar campaign in Bremerhaven in January. Here, too, the video was shown, speeches held and a leaflet distributed:

Boycott the Elections of the Rulers!

Down with Racism!

The federal government around the criminal and gangster Olaf Scholz collapsed in the middle of the political crisis. For February 23, the rulers beat the drum again for the elections. Why should we go there? Who from the people will be represented in this democracy if all those Parties only care about the interests of the great monopolies of this country?

Billions are pumped into the corporations so that they can maintain their billion euro profits. Financial injections directly to the bank accounts of the oligarchs of this country. In the meantime, we can no longer get a timely appointment with the doctor, because the health system is so dilapidated. Food prices are increasing, but our wages have hardly increased, a restaurant visit becomes a rare thing for the many. The bourgeois politicians do not change that.

What do they do instead? Racist agitation to split us workers! We see this very obviously in Bremerhaven. The German workers mostly live separately from the Bulgarian workers and often have prejudices about them. This is fertilized by disgusting election associations such as “Bündnis Deutschland” (fascists), which make a lot of agitation here, but all the other bourgeois Parties are all involved. The SPD also wants to sort migrants in concentration camps in North Africa into “usable” and “not usable”. And all of this is based on the fact that this country is plundering and looting other countries and participates in imperialist wars, where Bremerhaven is an important turntable for their arms transport. Therefore, we should not give the rulers and their elections one vote. We have to unite as workers, as neighbors and struggle for our interests on our own! The problem is not the others down here, the problem is those up there!

Don’t let them split youCombat and Resist!

Vote out exploitation, will never work!

In Bremen, among others, embellished bourgeois election propaganda were seen in the Neue Vahr:
